Check Out the Parks of Prague

Are you new in town and wondering what Park options Prague offers?

We have listed most of them below. Spring is coming and kids must be taken outdoors and into nature. Check out which parks are in your district, and what are the restaurant options near each location.

Prague 1

♥ Chotkovy Sady

A small English style park and the first public park in Prague. This mysterious garden offers great views of the New Town Tower of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

♥ Vojanovy Sady

A quite park hidden between the building. In the spring there are blooming magnolias, narcissus and fruit trees. A very quiet, peaceful and lush green garden.

♥ Františkánská Zahrada

A small park with a playground with a sand box and swings and lots of benches to sit down and relax. A little oasis in the middle of the city.

Prague 5

♥ Petřínské Skalky

A huge park with wonderful gardens and views of the city. There is a botanical garden, cafeteria and an observation tower, kids playgrounds and a lot of footpaths.

 ♥ Kinského Zahrada

Except the nature itself, the garden also offers different buildings and objects that can be visited.

 ♥ Sacré Coeur Park

A small and amazing park with quiet hidden places, a small zoo and possibility to have a workout on the outdoor machines.

Prague 6

♥ Divoká Šárka

A nature reserve with a public swimming pool in the middle of the valley and with the possibility of walking throughout the Džbán lake.

Prague 7

♥ Královská Obora/Stromovka 

A large green park where you can picnic and grill in special areas. The Royal Park offers amazing views, you can just spend here the whole day without getting bored.

 ♥ Letenské Sady

A large park situated on Letná Hill with grassy places, mature trees and playgrounds.

Prague 8

♥ Thomayerovy Sady

A park that gets  better everyday. There a big and very well equipped playground for kids.

Prague 10

♥ Malešický Park

Newly renovated park, great for kids and families. The water can be the main attraction for the little ones.

Out of Prague Districts

♥ Průhonice Park

One of the most beautiful park in the Czech Republic. The Průhonice Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a best place where to walk with kids. A  park with a huge lake, a castle and Botanic Gardens. Our favorite so far. The official website can be accessed here.
