My family loves cottage cheese and any kind of bakery from it. I am glad to share an easy and fast recipe. The cakes are light and tender.
Cottage cheese is very good for health, especially for kids. It is reach with calcium and phosphorous. Not everyone loves cottage cheese, so these cakes can be an alternative how to eat it. Here is step by step recipe.
♥ My Ingredients:
- 200 gr. cottage cheese
- 3 tbs sugar
- 5 tbs sour cream
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbs semolina
- 2 tbs soft butter
- pinch of vanilla
♥ My Method:
- Preheat the oven at 180°.
- Pass through a sieve the cottage cheese. Add sugar, vanilla and eggs, stir the ingredients.
- Add butter, semolina and sour cream and stir thoroughly.
- Put by the spoon into the forms for muffins and bake around 20 minutes.
You can put less sugar, add raisins or put one cherry from compote into every cake. Last time I didn’t have butter and baked without it. The cakes were the same delicious. Serve them with yogurt or sour cream, also are good with jam or honey. We usually eat them for breakfast with cocoa.
